About Tiffany:
Tiffany Thomas is an American screenwriter and an Emmy and Ovation Award–winning producer.
She began her career in entertainment as a comedy performer with the sketch troupe Slow Children Crossing, before shifting her focus to storytelling behind the scenes. Starting as a production intern, she built a dynamic career that led to producing the Emmy Award–winning documentary Defending the Homeland: Native Americans in the Armed Services, as well as 41st & Central: The Untold Story of the L.A. Black Panthers, which won Best Documentary at P.A.F.F.
Her producing credits also include several award-winning short films, such as Unconditional, recognized at Burbank International, BronzeLens, Tokyo International Short Film Festival, and nominated at P.A.F.F., and Unbraided, which screened at the Santa Barbara, Essence, and Nevada City Film Festivals.
Alongside her producing work, Tiffany is an established television writer. She served as a staff writer on the Disney animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and has developed multiple original pilots, including the dark comedy Frankie, directed by Ralph Farquhar. Her writing credits also include Rise Up, Sing Out and Phoebe & Jay for PBS KIDS, and she is currently developing several projects for Disney.
